About Weathertex

Australian owned and manufactured, Weathertex has been producing high-quality timber cladding in  Raymond Terrace, NSW Australia since 1939. With a focus on sustainability, durability and design, our products provide builders, architects, designers and homeowners with an environmentally conscious cladding solution without compromising on performance.

Massive investments have been made in the Weathertex factory over many years in order to support ongoing production, improve painting facilities and introduce modern computerisation systems. We are 100% Australian owned and operated, employing more than 100 local people for over 50 years.

Our products are made from 97% PEFC-certified timber from state forest or private hardwoods and 3% natural paraffin wax. This unique, eco-friendly process results in a 'better than zero' carbon footprint, meaning we sequester more carbon in our products than is emitted during their production. We are committed to healthier homes, which is why our boards are 100% free from added silica, glues, resins, or formaldehydes. Weathertex products are guaranteed not to rot, split or crack for up to 25 years.
